5.1 Working principle

The schematic diagram of the excitation circuit electrical wiring is as follows. The magnetic field circuit breaker is composed of two sets of normally open main contacts and one normally closed auxiliary contact which can be connected in series with the demagnetizing resistor. The two main contacts are respectively connected in series between the positive pole and the negative pole of the excitation circuit. When the generator is in normal operation, the main contact is closed, and the auxiliary contact is normally open. When the magnetic circuit breaker trips, the principle is that the auxiliary contact is closed first and the main contact is opened later to ensure that the magnetic field current can be fully Transfer to the nonlinear de-excitation resistance loop to achieve the purpose of rapid de-excitation.


5.2 Operation Control System

The operating mechanism developed by the new permanent magnet patent technology: using the working principle of permanent magnet closing and anti-magnetic opening, which is instantaneous work, has the characteristics of simple structure, magnetic stability, high reliability, low energy consumption, etc. The power supply is greatly reduced, the pulse signal is used to control the combined and splitting action of the electromagnet, and the current flowing through the operation button reaches the milliamp level, which can eliminate the high power closing and opening contactor, and greatly simplify the user control loop.

It can also directly control the electromagnet coil by means of a closing and opening contactor.

Improved results: (1) The control circuit board (along with the electromagnet) itself can be energized for a long time. (2) Control the circuit board to close or close the coil for a short period of time, and the reliability of the circuit board is improved. (3) Control the closing and opening action of the circuit board output to the electromagnet, and the time value is high. (4) Control the circuit board, and only when the input voltage exceeds 70% of the rated voltage value, can control the action of the electromagnet, avoiding the shortage of the previous product “can operate with electricity”. (5) Provide the user with a weak current control mode for "signal level" control. (6) After the original single coil electromagnet is closed, it depends on the other opening electromagnet. (7) Effectively simplified connection lines further improve overall reliability.

As shown in the figure above, the 1#——4# line is the power input line. It is recommended to use high-quality copper wire with thicker wire diameter (2mm 2 or more). The 5# and 6# lines are closing signal lines, which are closing buttons with a duration of 0.1s; the 7# and 8# lines are opening signal lines, which are opening buttons with a duration of 0.1s. Closing and opening The current in the signal control circuit is ≤ 0.5mA, and the wire with a thinner diameter can be used.

Further, the control mode of the de-magnetic circuit breaker of the double-coil permanent magnet opening and closing can provide great convenience for online control such as PLC. For the degaussing switch operated by the original electromagnetic type electromagnet, the permanent magnet type operating electromagnet can also be used for voltage control, which is convenient for replacing the original old product. 5.3 Contact System

The demagnetization circuit breaker adopts the demagnetization mode of constant resistance discharge, and has two normally open and one normally closed contacts.


5.4 Arc extinguishing system

The arc extinguishing chamber made of high-strength arc-proof material adopts the method of arc extinguishing of the grid, and the polarity of the power source need not be considered during use.

5.5 Auxiliary contact performance

The auxiliary contact has a heating current of 6A and a rated working voltage of AC220(230)V, 380(400)V, DC110V, 220V.

5.5.1 Auxiliary contact form: six normally open six normally closed.

5.5.2 The auxiliary contact type is AC-15 or DC-13, and the rated control capacity is: AC: 300VA; DC is 60W.


6.1 Before installation, check the insulation resistance of the magnetic circuit breaker with a 500V megger. When the ambient temperature is +20±5°C and the relative humidity is 50~70%, it should be no less than 10MΩ, otherwise it should be dried.

6.2 Check whether the electromagnet operation of the magnetic circuit breaker can be reliably separated and closed within the specified voltage range. During the closing and opening process, the movable part and the parts of the arc extinguishing chamber are not stuck.

6.3 The structure of the installed magnetic circuit breaker must be flat and in a vertical position.

6.4 Selection of the cross section of the installed busbar or cable: The cable or busbar connected to the busbar of the magnetic circuit breaker should have sufficient contact area, and the busbar or cable close to the circuit breaker should be installed and tightened to avoid various mechanical and electric loads. The stress is transmitted to the circuit breaker.

6.5 The arcing distance between the arc chute and the adjacent conductive and grounding parts shall be greater than 250 mm.

VII.Use and maintenance

7.1 The rotating part and the friction part must be regularly coated with lubricating oil.

7.2 Magnetic field breakers After the breaking of the strong excitation current, the contacts should be inspected in time, and the parts of the circuit breaker should be wiped out by the smoke marks on the arc spray. When checking the contacts, it must be noted that:

a. If small metal particles are formed on the contact surface of the contact, it must be removed with a file; and the original shape of the contact is maintained.

b. If the thickness of the silver alloy on the contact is less than 1mm, the contact parameters must be replaced and adjusted.
